Freight company signs up for two more years
Logistics company PSP has announced a two-year extension to its sponsorship of the Southampton Boat Show.
The Fareham-based business’ original three-year deal with the show expired after 2010, but founder and managing director Frank Dixie revealed at the London Boat Show that the deal will continue until 2012.
Mr Dixie said: ‘Three years ago no-one had really heard of PSP, but now everybody knows who we are.
‘We looked into other types of sponsorship that could give us the same type of exposure, but in the end there was nothing that would give us the same kind of branding that we would get from the Southampton Boat Show.
‘We reckon another two years will just about do it before it become pointless.’
PSP also sponsors some ISAF events and is a part sponsor, part supplier for the Clipper Round-The-World Race.
