Best ever year for charter company
Sunsail’s figures are in from the PSP Southampton Boat Show and Sunsail are thrilled to report a 55% uplift in year on year sales, making it our best ever by a very pleasing 10%. These are not exactly the figures that one would expect from a travel company in the midst of a recession, proving that the current economic climate has far from taken the wind out of Sunsail’s sails.
‘I am absolutely thrilled with the fantastic results that Sunsail have achieved from the PSP Southampton Boat Show. Such a positive response is extremely encouraging’, comments Cheryl Powell, Chief Operations Officer.
Andrew Williams, Managing Director of National Boat Shows added: “We are delighted that Sunsail enjoyed such a successful time exhibiting at the PSP Southampton Boat Show and benefited by achieving fantastic sales figures. We hope they continue such success at the 2010 Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show in January.”
During the boat show Sunsail took the opportunity to introduce the new Sunsail 42i, 33i and 384 catamaran along with their new bases in Croatia, Italy, Thailand and the Seychelles.
Cheryl Powell further comments, ‘We’ve put a great deal of investment in to our fleet and it really seems to be generating interest’.
Yachting is widely perceived as an expensive lifestyle that is beyond most people’s means. However, Sunsail provides accessibility and affordability to the masses. Whether you’re with your family or on your own, a sailor or a non sailor, Sunsail caters for everyone.
