Sunsail, the boat chartering group, have taken a brave stance in the post September 11 world – announcing new holiday destinations – one of them in the Caribbean, an area which has been badly hit by cancellations of US customers.

The new destinations include Cuba, French Polynesia, the Tahitian Islands, and Corsica.

Their new base in Plymouth opens in March. The company also says 2002 will provide the largest ever selection of boats.
