The Royal Observatory at Greenwich is raising 15 million pounds sterling to replace its aging planetarium.

Already the Heritage Lottery Fund and others have pledged three quarters of the sum.

The hope the Observatory’s ‘expert astronomers’ will be better able to scan the skies once the project is finished.
