Bénéteau was pushing the design envelope again in 1990 when it brought in Bruce Farr for the fi rst of a number of design collaborations at the larger end of the range. Around 240 were built. For this one, Farr worked with Pininfarina on the interior. Once again, Bénéteau used style as a major selling
point but Farr’s infl uence produced a yacht that was fast and competitive. A 45s5 was also produced, with an interior by Starck.
