The largest of Chuck Paine’s Bowman’s, the 48 was again semicustom built to Lloyd’s 100A1 standard,
making them virtually bulletproof. While this makes for a heavy displacement, give her a good breeze
and she’ll maintain good speed on long passages. Bowman now offer her with a centre cockpit.
