A fast cruiser, the Comet 36 boasts sparkling performance under sail, despite her small rig. A well-laid-out cockpit means she is easily sailed by two people, and she is perfectly mannered with a light feel to the helm. Below decks, she had three options for the interior, and each boat was built to order, so some variation from the standard layout can be expected. Stowage is a little sketchy, and she had a small galley, but the interior is finished to a high quality. A long options list was available,
which means a wide range of specifi cations – and asking prices on the second-hand market.
