By the early 1990s, Conyplex was anxious to give its boats a little more performance and the 40S marked the start of a new drive in this direction. She was designed to maintain high speeds in all
conditions. Lower and fi ner than her predecessors, she is, nevertheless, full-bodied and spacious. The accommodation is designed for life aboard with lots of stowage, a large and comfortable aft cabin, with heads en suite, and a second, guest suite forward. The galley is large but secure, and the well-proportioned chart table will cope with ocean passage-planning.
