Dufour 27
With very high freeboard and a window in
the hull, this was a distinctive and popular
cruiser from 1973. Most sales were in
France. Under her semi-fl ush decks she
had 5ft 11in (1.8m) headroom and four
berths in a very bare, GRP-dominated
interior. A masthead rig, with small
mainsail and large headsail,
allowed adequate cruising
performance. Early Dufours
are now getting a little tired,
and will be in need of
refurbishment if this has
not already been done.
