Fisher 30/31
The Fisher 30 started the whole business off and was the most
popular of all the models. Over 250 were built, at one time at a rate
of one a week. In 1980the hull was stretched, the wheelhouse
enlarged and the rig changed to sloop to become the 36 with
arguably the best sailing performance of the range. Fora while
the 30 and 31 were both in production. The accommodation on
the 30 was a more spacious version of the 25. The 31 had a
face to face dinette/double bunk and a double Quarter
berth. The heads moved aft and
the galley was pushed well
forward. The bunks in the large
forecabin were made bigger. Both
models were fitted with 34hp diesels.
