Gib'sea 352
Launched in 1988, this was the replacement forthe
105/106 series and had a lot to live up to. Another
Joubert-Nivelt design, she was a spacious,
reasonably well-equipped boat aimed mainly at
the charter market with a Master, or owner’s
version also available. The charter version had
two after cabins, a large, outward facing chart
table, spacious saloon and compact heads
forward with the forecabin. The owner’s
version had one after cabin and a rather
larger heads aft The forecabin also had
more space. In this form she was not a
bad family cruiser but sales were
disappointing and
she had difficulty competing
with the Oceanis and Sun
Odyssey ranges.
